Manuel “Manny” Gonzalez was born in Camaguey, Cuba. At the age of 5, he came to Miami, Florida making this his home. He graduated from Miami Springs Senior High School. He attended Miami-Dade Community College where he obtained his Associate in Arts degree. He went on to graduate from FIU with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He attended and graduated from Nova Law School Center in February 1984.
During his second year of law school, he worked at a civil and criminal law firm in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In 1983, while in his last semester of law school, he worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office prosecuting cases at the Juvenile Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Manny graduated in February 1984 and immediately passed the Florida Bar examination. He was sworn in on June 7, 1984, by the Honorable Peter T. Fay, Circuit Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Manny then worked for a small civil law firm and handled their criminal cases.
In December 1985, Manny opened his own law office. During his legal career, Manny has tried numerous cases at the state and federal levels. He has tried civil, commercial, immigration, and criminal trials.
Manny has represented clients in federal and state courts around the country. His practice on several occasions has taken him abroad. During his successful career of 37 years, he has been involved in complex multiple defendant cases in Federal and State court. Some of which have been up to three months long. Manny has always represented his clients passionately, arduously, and zealously.

Manny has also been admitted Pro Hac Vice in the United States District Court in the Western District of Texas, Southern District of Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Bend, Indiana. At the state level in New York, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

Gabriel Gonzalez is an Associate for the Law Office of Manuel Gonzalez, Jr., where he devotes most of his practice to the field of Criminal Defense as well as a broad variety of other fields. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida and in 2019, he graduated from Florida International University earning Cum Laude status while obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He then would go on to attend his first year of law school in Naples, Florida where he attended Ave Maria School of Law. After his first year, he then transferred to and graduated from St. Thomas University Law School in May of 2022 with Cum Laude status, and received the highest score in Criminal Procedure.
Before attending law school, He interned for the Honorable Ramiro Areces of the 11th judicial Circuit and County Court. Throughout law school, he worked with several civil and criminal lawyers including Manny Gonzalez in Miami, Florida in aiding by conducting thorough legal and factual research as well as drafting documents that the attorneys requested or needed. In 2022, while in his last semester of law school, he worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Circuit Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County for the Honorable Barbara Areces of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in the Civil Division. Gabriel graduated in May of 2022 and immediately passed the Florida Bar examination. In July of that same year.
