
Gabriel Gonzalez is an Associate for the Law Office of Manuel Gonzalez, Jr., where he devotes most of his practice to the field of Criminal Defense as well as a broad variety of other fields. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida and in 2019, he graduated from Florida International University earning Cum Laude status while obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He then would go on to attend his first year of law school in Naples, Florida where he attended Ave Maria School of Law. After his first year, he then transferred to and graduated from St. Thomas University Law School in May of 2022 with Cum Laude status, and received the highest score in Criminal Procedure.
Before attending law school, He interned for the Honorable Ramiro Areces of the 11th judicial Circuit and County Court. Throughout law school, he worked with several civil and criminal lawyers including Manny Gonzalez in Miami, Florida in aiding by conducting thorough legal and factual research as well as drafting documents that the attorneys requested or needed. In 2022, while in his last semester of law school, he worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Circuit Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County for the Honorable Barbara Areces of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in the Civil Division. Gabriel graduated in May of 2022 and immediately passed the Florida Bar examination. In July of that same year.
He was sworn in on September 30, 2022, by the Honorable Barbara Areces, Circuit Judge, U.S. Circuit Court for the 11th Circuit.
